Lan Xichen's Birthday Week Celebration

This event is an online fan theme week dedicated to creating fanworks for Lan Xichen, a character in the novel Mo Dao Zu Shi. The character's birthday is on October 8.
The event will run between October 1-October 8, 2020.

Rules

  • We welcome all types of Lan Xichen pairings and Lan Xichen-centered works, either romantic or platonic! Our aim is to honor the kind-hearted Sect Leader of the Gusu Lan and to celebrate his birth with the honor and care he deserves.

  • We abhor ship hates. We don’t condone any animosity amongst Lan Xichen ships and we want to run this event as smoothly as possible and please do respect the content creators with their choices. Sect Leader Lan doesn’t tolerate it!

  • We accept all kinds of fanworks in any form (i.e. manhua, donghua, CQL, audio drama, etc) and in any language. Fanfiction, fanarts, pinboards, playlists, cosplay, etc, you name it. Be creative as our esteemed Sect Leader is well-versed in arts. He would surely appreciate everything.

  • Some works might contain triggering warnings/harmful contents and do make sure they are appropriately tagged, especially with works containing R18/NSFW! We want to keep this event safe for minors. Some examples are but not limited to: major character death, gore, extreme violence, non-con, etc.

  • Please do make sure to tag your works with #Happy1008ZewuJun2020 so we can properly retweet! We want all works to be appreciated and have the participants browse easily!

  • For works uploaded in Archive on our Own, we ask you to upload it under the Happy1008ZewuJun2020 collection. This will group all the works for easier navigation.

  • We are using two social media accounts for this event, namely Twitter and Tumblr. We won’t do any cross posting and it’s entirely up to the content creators for their desired account to use.
